INNOVATIVETAXGUIDANCE LLC, doing business publicly as Innovative Tax Guidance (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operates innovativetaxguidance.com. This policy explains how we handle information provided through our website and communications. Please contact us with questions about our practices.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide may include your name, email address, telephone number, city and state, tax concern, inquiry details, and communications with us. If you choose to opt in to marketing SMS, we collect your choice and related consent information. Communication records may include opt-in and opt-out requests and their source and timing.
Our website and service providers may collect technical information, including IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referral information, timestamps, and cookies. Do not submit Social Security numbers, bank account details, tax documents, or other sensitive financial information through a general consultation form.
2. How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, arrange consultations, provide requested services under separate agreements, operate and protect our website, understand website usage, maintain communication preferences, honor opt-outs, and meet legal obligations. We send marketing SMS only where the required affirmative consent has been obtained and the applicable messaging program is authorized.
Requesting a consultation, entering a telephone number, or submitting a form does not by itself grant marketing SMS permission. Information submitted without SMS consent may be used to respond to the inquiry through appropriate non-SMS channels; it must not be treated as permission for a marketing SMS audience.
3. Marketing SMS consent
The optional marketing SMS program concerns tax resolution services, promotional offers, and consultation opportunities. Messages may use automated technology. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of requesting a free consultation. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
This marketing consent does not authorize appointment reminders, account updates, customer support SMS, automated or prerecorded calls, or email marketing. Those communications require their own appropriate authorization where applicable. Read our SMS Terms and Conditions.
4. Mobile information and SMS consent
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, shared, or transferred for another company’s independent marketing.
Providers that operate our communications systems may process the minimum information needed to deliver messages or manage preferences on our behalf, subject to appropriate obligations. This operational processing does not give those providers permission to use your number or consent for their own marketing. Legal disclosures, where required, do not authorize independent marketing.
5. Service providers and other disclosures
We may use providers for WordPress hosting, website forms, email delivery, communications, technology support, analytics, security, and professional services. The website uses WordPress and has Fluent Forms, FormLayer, WP Mail SMTP, cookie-management, and Google Analytics integration software installed. Installation does not mean that every feature or connection is enabled. Providers receive information needed for the functions they perform for us.
We may disclose information where required by law or legal process, to protect legal rights or security, or in a lawful business transaction, subject to applicable protections. The restriction on mobile information and SMS opt-in data for independent third-party marketing continues to apply. We do not transfer SMS consent to another company’s independent marketing program.
6. Cookies and analytics
Cookies and similar technologies may support website functions, security, preferences, and usage measurement. Analytics may collect technical and browsing information. You can use available cookie controls and browser settings to manage cookies. Some functions may not work if necessary cookies are disabled.
Cookie choices are separate from marketing SMS consent. Accepting cookies does not enroll you in SMS marketing. This policy does not imply that an advertising pixel or analytics feature is active merely because its plugin is installed.
7. Retention and security
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to honor communication preferences, meet applicable obligations, and resolve disputes. Consent and suppression records may need to be retained to document permission and prevent unwanted messages. Contact us for information about records associated with your inquiry.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the information we handle. No website, email system, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Use the communication method agreed with the company for sensitive tax information; do not send it through the public consultation form.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to ask about applicable privacy rights. Rights and exceptions depend on the law that applies to your circumstances. We may need to verify your identity before responding and may retain information required for lawful purposes.
To stop marketing SMS, reply STOP or send a clear cancellation request by email or phone using the details below. Do not send an opt-out request through a public comment. A request to stop SMS does not cancel a separate professional service agreement.
9. Children and external websites
The website and consultation services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
Links to Facebook, Instagram, IRS resources, and other third-party sites are governed by those sites’ own policies. We do not control their privacy practices.
10. Updates and contact
We may update this policy and will show the revised date. Updates do not retroactively broaden existing SMS permission. New message purposes require an appropriate new affirmative consent.
